Kelvin Grove Houses & Condos for Sale - Calgary
Kelvin Grove is a residential neighbourhood in the south-west quadrant of Calgary. It is bounded to the north by Glenmore Trail, to the east by Elbow Drive, to the south by 75 Avenue S and to the west by 14 Street W. The Rockyview General Hospital is located immediately west of the community.
Most of the homes in this area have been built between the 1950s to the 1970s consisting of single-family homes and townhomes. The area is preferred for its proximity to the recreational opportunities around the Reservoir and the access to the Macleod Trail shopping. The area is also close to Rockyview Hospital on 14th Street, and several LRT stations on the south ("Anderson") leg.
Calgary Golf & Country Club is accessible from Elbow Drive in the north. There is an indoor ice arena on Heritage Drive, and a waterslide park nearby, beside Macleod Trail. Most of the recreation is around the reservoir, with a sailing club on the east shore and the south shore. Heritage Park is also just west of 14th Street. Also of interest in this are two wave pools, the Southland Leisure Centre to the west, and the Family Leisure Centre to the east (on Anderson).
