Retail shopping is something that residents of Aspen Woods never have to travel far for. The southwest corner of 85 St SW is where Aspen Landing Shopping Centre is located, and it's a great resource. This centre has restaurants, a cafe, a bank, and other small retail stores for residents to take advantage of. Situated right next to the beautiful Aspen Woods Lake means views from any of these spots are always beautiful.
All throughout the community are many more businesses for residents to take advantage of, including bakeries, a theatre, cafes, and grocery stores. For even more shopping, Westbrook Mall is only 7 km away and can be reached via Bow Trail SW. It's easy to travel to any of these areas with a car, although Aspen Landing has a stop on the southwest leg of the LRT line. This makes it easy to get to downtown, the surrounding communities, or other areas of the community without a vehicle! However, with so many trendy shops and eateries within the neighbourhood itself, residents here find little reason to travel far away for their everyday needs.
