Cambrian Heights Real Estate Information

The northwest community of Cambrian Heights is located east of 14 St NW, west of Queens Park Village, south of John Laurie Blvd NW, and north of 10 St NW. It was first annexed by the city in 1910 but wasn't developed for some time later, until the late 1950s. The majority of these dwellings are single-family homes, while there is a small number of duplexes, apartments, and townhouses in the mix as well.

Some of the homes in this community have maintained their older construction, although many have been renovated by homeowners who want more modern aesthetics inside and outside of their properties. These have become more common in recent years and are changing the face of the community of Cambrian Heights as a whole. These are only made better by the rolling topography that this neighbourhood features, which provides stunning views of the city's skyline.

Cambrian Heights is simply a quiet and enjoyable place to live, which is why it has continued to grow over the past several years. With beautiful and historic homes, stunning landscaping, mature trees, and friendly neighbours, it's a great place to call home. Residents here will have convenience in the location and serenity of the community itself.

Cambrian Heights Amenities and Highlights

Due to the fact that residents of Cambrian Heights have direct access to downtown via Tenth Street NW, it’s easy to take advantage of the shopping, entertainment, and restaurants the city has to offer. However, for those who want to stay closer to home, Crowchild Trail NW is just to the west and has a wide variety of retail, big box, and local stores available to choose from.

What's even better is that the University of Calgary, McMahon Stadium, and the Stadium Shopping Centre are tucked right in the same area along with a number of restaurants, bars, and cafes.

Cambrian Heights Elementary School is one of the most historic buildings in the community, having been around for many decades. It's one of many schools that serve this neighbourhood and children of all ages.

When it comes to church, residents can find several options, including the Truth Church. This is right next door to the Alberta Bible College and down the road from the Menno Simons Christian School.

Things to Do in Cambrian Heights

If residents travel just a couple of minutes to the northwest they will find the massive Nose Hill Park, which is the second largest urban park in Canada. It features pathways, hiking trails, wildlife, picnicking areas, and beautiful views.

The Calgary Winter Club is situated on the south end of this just near the border of Cambrian Heights. This features indoor athletic facilities for times when the weather outside isn't optimal.
