Located in both the northeast and the northwest quadrants of Calgary lies the community of Crescent Heights. Situated immediately north of Downtown Calgary, this neighbourhood offers stunning views of the skyline as well as the Bow River that surrounds the skyscrapers.

What's truly unique about this community is the fact that it's one of the oldest in Calgary. Its roots date back to 1895 when it was founded by Archibald J. McArthur. A short time later in 1908, the land was incorporated as a village. Just a couple of years after that, the land was annexed by the City of Calgary and then established into a neighbourhood in 1914.

Memorial Dr. NW also has a parking lot where visitors can park and walk along the edge of the Bow River. Prince Island Park is just a stone’s throw away from this and it can be visited by using the Bow River Pathway.

Residents can cross Centre St N to the east and find Mt. Pleasant Splash Park and Rotary Park. These are situated next to Mt. Pleasant Tennis Club which features several courts for members to use at their leisure.
