Eau Claire, Calgary has a location that's hard to beat. It's immediately north of Downtown Calgary with 3 Ave SW to the south, the Bow River to the west/north, and 2 St SW to the east.

Eau Claire Recreation

Eau Claire Park is a wonderful spot to spend an afternoon, featuring ample outdoor space and views of the Bow River. However, West Eau Claire Park is currently under redevelopment to further enhance the space for visitors.

Once finished, this will feature river lookouts, a sculpture garden, river decks, a promenade, a lagoon boardwalk, a community garden, and much more. Right next door to this park is the ever popular Prince Island Park.

While popular for festivals, it's also a great spot for picnicking, trails, and other outdoor activities. Next to this is the smaller Sien Lok Park, which features sculptures that reflect the heritage of Chinese Canadians.
