Erlton Real Estate Information

Located minutes away from downtown lies the small inner-city community of Erlton. Established in 1906, this neighbourhood has remained a thriving part of the city with a growing number of residents every year.

The majority of dwellings here are single-family homes, although there are many condos and townhouses availability as well. For those who are looking for something on the luxury side, Erlton does have a quaint selection of high-end condos that feature all the amenities one could want in a home.

With many other communities surrounding this neighbourhood, such as Roxboro to the west, Cliff Bungalow to the northwest, and downtown to the north, it's easy to see why people love living here.

Residents can step outside of their homes and see beautiful nature to one corner and the skyscrapers of downtown to another. And with the influx of proposed condominium projects and developments, it's sure to continue thriving well into the future.

Erlton Amenities and Highlights

With Macleod Trail SE cutting right through Erlton, convenience is never too far away. In addition to leading to downtown, the Scotiabank Saddledome, and the East Village, Macleod Trail is also home to a number of retail shops, grocery stores, convenience stores, and restaurants.

For added entertainment, Erlton features the Talisman Centre at the top of its border. This huge facility offers sports camps, group fitness, school programs, child care, aquatics, and much more for visitors of all ages. Although driving is an easy way to get to and from Erlton, there is an LRT station within the community.

Erlton Recreation

When looking at a map it would appear that Erlton offers several parks for residents, however, these green spaces are actually three separate cemeteries. One of the most historic is St. Mary's Cemetery, which was created in 1866 and is the final resting place of historical figures. Fortunately, access to parks is still easily enjoyed with Roxboro Park to the south, Stanley Park to the south, and ENMAX Park to the northeast.

Lindsay Park is also situated in the northern tip of the community right next to the Elbow River and Talisman Centre. It offers pathways, benches, picnicking areas, and beautiful lush green grass.

Most homes in this community are also located close to the Glencoe Club and Stampede Park, offering a wide variety of sporting options to people of all ages.
