Coventry Hills Real Estate Information

Soon after the initial development, the subdivision of Coventry Hills began to quickly grow, with modern homes drawing in thousands of people in just a short amount of time. In fact, by the year 2014, the population had grown to nearly 16,941 residents who lived in over 5,389 dwellings. An increase from the previous year, Coventry Hills has succeeded in keeping the attention of home buyers.

The homes in Coventry Hills have varying styles, with most featuring updated exterior appearances and modern amenities indoors. The majority are single-family dwellings although there are a growing number of apartments and townhouses in the mix as well.

Also within the community are two public schools named Coventry Hills Elementary and Nose Creek School. There are also two separate schools named St. Claire Catholic Elementary and Notre Dame Catholic High School.

Outside of Coventry Hills, there are many more retail opportunities in close proximity, including the Country Hills Shopping Centre located just minutes to the south. Visitors here can find a pizza restaurant, cinema, bar and grill, Home Depot, gas stations, and grocery stores.

Notre Dame High School is also in this community providing alternative education options for residents nearby. For higher education, the University of Calgary Spy Hill is 16 km to the west while the main campus is 16km to the southwest.

Coventry Hills is also just 8km away from the Calgary International Airport, making it easy for those who travel often to get to the airport. Further enhancing the convenience of this neighbourhood is the fact that Stoney Trail and Deerfoot trail are in close proximity. Both of these can take residents to nearby communities as well as areas throughout the rest of the city.


Coventry Hills Recreation

As part of the Northern Hills Community Association, Coventry Hills residents have opportunities to take part in sports programs and various activities all throughout the year.

They are also able to take advantage of the Cardel Place recreation facility, which is a state-of-the-art building designed with playing fields, a public library, a climbing wall, swimming pools, and activity rooms.

Several small parks are located throughout Coventry Hills, although Nose Creek Park on the east side is one of the most popular locations for outdoor sports and play. Just south of this residents will find even more green space as well as a lake in the community of Harvest Hills.

Golf enthusiasts are never far from a course to play their favourite game, as there are several beautiful golf courses in surrounding communities of Harvest Hills, Panorama Hills, and Country Hills. Residents of Coventry Hills tend to golf at Country Hills Golf Club more frequently, as they have access given with their home purchase.

Nose Hill Park is also nearby for those who live in this neighbourhood, as it's around 10km to the southwest. With large open spaces as well as a Winter Club for sports during the colder months of the year, this park is an excellent resource for anyone who loves to spend time outside.
