Peter Lougheed Centre is less than 15km to the southeast.

MacEwan Glen Park, in particular, is a popular spot with a beautiful playground and picnicking areas. However, the true gem of the community is Nose Hill Park that borders the south side of the community.

As one of the biggest parks in the city, this offers wildlife, activity pathways, and ample open space for visitors to enjoy. The south side of the park also has a Winter Club for indoor recreation when it’s cold or snowing outside.

The well-landscaped pathways throughout MacEwan Glen offer flexibility for active residents and complement the baseball diamond and tennis courts in the area perfectly.

With many homes backing up into open meadows as well, residents have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors in the community. Golf enthusiasts are also close to several courses, including Country Hills Golf Course that's minutes to the northeast.
