Sandstone Valley Recreation

Sandstone Valley is surrounded by some of the most beautiful recreations in north Calgary. This includes Nose Hill Park, which touches the southwest corner of the community. Residents can reach this using the pathway system and enjoy all the recreation and activity space that this park has so much of.

Another nearby recreation treasure is the Nose Creek Parkway, which is minutes northeast of the neighbourhood. For those who golf, the Country Hills Golf Course is immediately diagonal to Sandstone Valley. The Hamptons Golf Club is another option that's not too far of a drive away.

Sandstone Valley has many recreation amenities within its borders as well, including sporting facilities, hockey rinks, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playgrounds.

Sandstone Park is located in the centre of the community is also a great place to spend an afternoon enjoying open green space with a playground and picnic areas.
