The community of Coach Hill is bounded by 69 St to the west, Old Banff Coach Road to the north, Bow Trail to the south, and Sarcee Trail to the east. This provides stunning views of the city skyline as well as the Rockies, which are both recreational treasures for residents who live here.
Coach Hill is unique with its real estate and offers a little bit of something for everyone as a result. The prices for most are very reasonable, although many homeowners have done renovations to help increase the worth of their properties. As of 2014, there were just over 3,303 residents living in 1,433 dwellings in this community. With a median household income of $85,000, a mere 5% were low income.

Coach Hill Amenities

Additional shopping centres within close proximity include the Signal Hill Shopping Centre and Westhills Shopping Centre, which have hundreds of stores as well as a cinema. Both of these can be reached via Sarcee Trail SW, which is easily accessible from Coach Hill.
Many schools, both public and private, are proud to serve the neighbourhood of Coach Hill. These schools include but are not limited to Westgate Elementary, Vincent Massey Junior High, and Western Canada Senior High.
As for religious facilities, there are several in the nearby area, including Bethel United Reformed Church and West Springs Free Methodist Church. Running errands is also easy for residents of Coach Hill, as there are many gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores just minutes away.
Strathcona Blvd SW is one of the best routes to find these spots in particular, as it can take residents to a bank, grocery store, and hair salon in only a few minutes.
Coach Hill Recreation and Things to Do
Coach Hill has beautiful green spaces where residents can enjoy the outdoors. This includes a park with a ball diamond and playgrounds where young children can play.
There's even an off-leash park situated on the east side of the community along Prominence Rise SW. Also within the community is an incredible community centre that is situated along Old Banff Coach Road. This features soccer pitches, a ball diamond, an outdoor skating rink, playgrounds, and many other recreational amenities.
In addition to this, the community centre hosts yoga programs, line dancing, martial arts, and many other fun activities all throughout the year.
When it comes to recreational treasures in close proximity, nothing beats the beautiful Edworthy Park, which can be reached by crossing Sarcee Trail to the east. This is bordered to the north by the Bow River and features a pathway with beautiful views along with picnicking areas, pathways, and meadows.
Looking to the southeast of the community there's, even more, green space in the neighbouring community of Strathcona Park. This is often used for organized sports or casual outdoor play for residents of this community as well as Coach Hill.
Last but not least, golf enthusiasts won't have to travel far to find great courses near this community. This includes the Shaganappi Golf Course to the southeast, Eat, Sleep, Golf to the northwest, and All Shots Golf Driving Range a bit further to the northwest.
