Patterson Real Estate Information

Further adding to the history of this area is the fact that it was once the home of the Crandell family who owned the first brick factory in Alberta. Their brick home can still be found in the community today.

As the community continued to grow while under development, it was set to be the site of the University of Alberta. However, this changed when Edmonton was instead chosen as the site of this educational facility. This didn't stop the area from continuing to flourish because during the 1988 XV Olympic Winter Games it was used as the Broadcast Hill Media Village. The apartments used for this were later converted into condominiums which house residents of the community today.

Real estate in this area has since become highly desirable. The average price for single-family properties is on average $778,000, with condos reaching a median price of $332,000. Condos and townhomes make up the majority of properties here, with 1,400 in total.

When it comes to single-family homes, there's around 540 with prices ranging from $500,000 to over $5 million for estate properties. Given the fact that there’s a broad range of properties here, this neighbourhood is ideal for a broad range of budgets and buyers.
