Crowfoot Crossing is an additional shopping centre that's in close proximity, being only 4.7km via Crowchild Trail NW. Travelling west or east of this same road will lead to a number of other retail and restaurant options, making it incredibly easy for residents of this community to find just what they need.

While driving to reach these areas is certainly an option for those who live here, the C-Train LRT system is an easy-to-use alternative.

When it comes to education, Dalhousie is home to Dalhousie Elementary, West Dalhousie Elementary, H.D. Cartwright Junior High, and St. Dominic Separate School. There are also several churches situated throughout the community for those who want to be close to religious facilities.


Dalhousie Recreation

Recreation in Dalhousie is abundant with many parks located all throughout. This includes a park situated near West Dalhousie Elementary and one located next to Dalhousie Community Centre. The community centre itself is also a great resource for getting outside, as it hosts many events and activities such as dance for kids and organized sports for adults.

Outside of the community are even more natural resources, including John Laurie Park to the immediate north. Nose Hill Park is also immediately diagonal to Dalhousie, which is why it's a popular place for those who live in the community to visit all throughout the year.

For golf enthusiasts, the Silver Springs Golf & Country Club is minutes to the south of this neighbourhood. Being located right next to the Bow River and open outdoor space, it's excellent for all types of activities.
