NW Calgary Real Estate Information

Upon entering the quadrant of Northwest Calgary visitors will see a rolling landscape with peaceful prairies, mature trees, glimpses of the city skyline, and sights of the stunning Rocky Mountains.

The Nose Hill Natural Environment Parks is one of the biggest landmarks situated in this quadrant. It's a great spot for anyone who loves the outdoors, as it features exercise pathways, large open areas, picnic areas, wildlife, and so many other fun amenities.

The communities that immediately surround this park include Varsity, Brentwood, and Charleswood. Beyond this park are seven golf courses that range from private to public, making it easy for golf enthusiasts to find a place to play their favourite sport.

Important Institutions in NW Calgary

NW Calgary is close to many establishments. The University of Calgary and SAIT are located within this area, and both universities are near major roads. The area also has three city arenas, fitness centres and four aquatics.

Two hospitals are supported by this community: Alberta Children hospital and the Foothills Medical Centre. The LRT serves this community as well and connects the area with eight stations on its leg.
